Job Description
WN Infotech is
seeking a skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our team.
As a Help Desk Technician, you will be the first point of contact for technical
support requests, providing efficient and effective solutions to ensure smooth
operation of our IT systems. Your role is crucial in maintaining high levels of
customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide guidance and support for IT-related inquiries and issues.
- Document support cases, solutions, and maintain accurate records in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Educate and train users on basic IT functions and best practices.
- Participate in regular maintenance and update activities to ensure optimal performance of IT systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
- Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e. g. , CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Previous experience of 0 to 5 years in help desk or technical support role is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Strong understanding of IT principles and an enthusiasm for staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
