Job Description
As an SAP ABAP Programmer at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing custom ABAP programs to support our SAP systems. You will collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your role will be critical in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our SAP applications, contributing to the overall success of our technology initiatives.
- Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business analysts to understand business processes and requirements.
- Perform technical analysis, design, coding, and unit testing of new development projects and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs and SAP system performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
- Provide support for SAP system upgrades and patch applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP applications with other enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, HR, and their integration points.
- Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks (User Exits, BADIs, BTEs, Enhancement Points).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP development tools such as SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, and SAP GUI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP ABAP programmer.
- Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e. g. , Agile, Waterfall).
- SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
