Job Description
As an SAP BW (Business Warehouse) Analyst at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BW solutions to support the company's data warehousing needs. You will work closely with business users and IT teams to understand requirements, design data models, develop data extraction and transformation processes, and ensure the integrity and performance of the SAP BW system. This role is critical in providing actionable insights through data analytics and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, including InfoObjects, InfoProviders, DataSources, and DataStore Objects (DSOs).
- Develop and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure timely and accurate data integration from various source systems.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective SAP BW solutions.
- Create and manage BW reports and dashboards using SAP Business Explorer (BEx) and other reporting tools.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the SAP BW system to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
- Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data quality.
- Provide end-user training and support for SAP BW tools and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with SAP BW advancements and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of the BW environment.
- Proficiency in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) with hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and database management.
- Experience with SAP Business Explorer (BEx) and other SAP reporting tools.
- Knowledge of ABAP programming for SAP BW data extraction and transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business users and IT teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with SAP BW, including experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting.
- Experience with SAP HANA and SAP BW on HANA is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications in SAP BW or related areas are a plus.
- Experience with other SAP modules (e. g. , SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA) is an advantage.
