Job Summary
As a Quantitative Analyst (Quant) at WN Infotech, youll be responsible for using mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze financial data and develop models for trading strategies and risk management.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop quantitative models for trading strategies and risk management.
- Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to implement and test models.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies.
- Stay updated on market trends and developments in quantitative finance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualification & Experience Required Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, finance, or engineering. Prior experience of 0 to 5 years in quantitative analysis or financial modeling is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Relevant certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) may be advantageous.
