Job Description
- Develop, document, and execute non-functional test plans and test cases to assess performance, scalability, security, and reliability of software products.
- Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar, to evaluate system behavior under various conditions.
- Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure that the software meets security standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify and resolve non-functional issues, ensuring optimal software performance and reliability.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and performance.
- Continuously improve non-functional testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in non-functional testing.
- Strong understanding of non-functional testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Knowledge of security testing practices and tools, such as OWASP, Burp Suite, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in non-functional testing and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing non-functional test plans and test cases.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Performance Testing Professional (CPTP) or Certified Security Testing Professional (CSTP) would be advantageous.
