Job Title : ServiceNow Developer
Role Overview :
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. This role is crucial for ensuring platform stability, integrating business logic, and delivering high-quality solutions that align with business requirements. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize ServiceNow implementations and enhance system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
ServiceNow Development & Customization :
- Develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Work on Service Portal development and enhancements, ensuring seamless user experience.
- Implement best practices for coding, security, and performance optimization.
Integrations & Automation :
- Develop and manage complex third-party integrations (web services and plugin-based) within the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure smooth data exchange between ServiceNow and external systems.
CMDB & Asset Management :
- Strong understanding and implementation of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset management principles.
Agile & Scrum Practices :
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to align development efforts with business logic.
Continuous Improvement & Documentation :
- Optimize the ServiceNow platform by implementing best practices and improving efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for development, integrations, and configurations.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing :
- Work closely with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and business analysts.
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions on scripting, testing, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow developments, automation technologies, and integration methodologies.
Qualifications & Skills :
Must-Have :
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator.
- Expertise in ServiceNow integrations (both web services and plugin-based).
- Strong knowledge of Service Portal development and customizations.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Client-side & Server-side scripting, JavaScript, and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
- Experience in leading a team (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred :
- ServiceNow CSA certification.
- Micro-certification in Service Portal.
