Mainframe Architect

10+ years of experience in Mainframes including 4+ years of experience in Legacy Migration/Modernization

Must have worked on end-to-end rehosting a mainframe application to Cloud including application assessment, analysis, high level and detailed architecture design, application migration, data migration, security and ecosystem migration, carrying out various phases of testing and deployment

Must have experience in Micro Focus Analyzer, Server and developer

Must have expert knowledge in COBOL, JCL, CICS with experience in multiple databases including DB2, IMS and VSAM

Must be able to design solutions to handle any criticalities during migration

Must have good communication skills, must be able to create presentations and present solutions to the client or concerned teams

Must be able to drive POC and migration independently and guide the team members

Knowledge of assembler is preferred

Experience in AWS Cloud is preferred

Knowledge of DB2 to Postgre migration is preferred

Knowledge on other modernization products like TMax, Raincode, etc. is preferred

Knowledge of various modernization tools and vendor offerings like CAST, IBM ADDI, Cloud Frame, BluAge etc. is preferred

Must be willing to travel as and when needed
