About the employer brand:
A health-tech brand offering on-demand consultations with general medical practitioners based in Perth, Australia founded by Indian-origin founders.
It offers 24hr on-demand tele health - see an AHPRA registered GP for an online consultation, prescription, or referral within 15 minutes, or request an online medical certificate.
The brand just hit an impressive USD 3 million ARR with an agile team and wishes to expand and set up a marketing team at its Chennai office serving them, while closely working with the CMO and marketing leadership working from their Australia office.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Manager this individual will report to the Marketing/Product Head and will be responsible for developing and executing world-class SEO and content marketing strategies. The SEO Manager will collaborate with internal copywriters and the marketing team to ensure optimal SEO practices are applied across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee SEO & content strategy for all associated websites.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and report findings to improve rankings and conversions.
  • Implement SEO best practices and provide guidance to internal copywriters to ensure high-quality SEO content.
  • Write and optimize meta titles, descriptions, and on-page copy based on market trends.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content strategy.
  • Provide search engine accessibility consulting and manage content agencies and freelance writers.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies and collaborate on conversion optimization efforts.
  • Measure the effectiveness of SEO initiatives through regular reporting (weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics).
  • Participate in App Store Optimization (ASO) discussions to ensure optimal product placement.
  • Develop strategies to grow organic visibility on both the App Store and Google Play Store through ASO.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize keywords, rankings, and perform competitor analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Apple and Google Play to ensure app visibility.
  • Lead creative processes for optimizing store graphics and testing app page conversions.
  • Provide content and creative briefs to guide the content and art teams.
  • Plan and execute tests across testing platforms on a regular schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align on ASO strategy.
  • Track version releases and ensure ASO updates are accurately reflected on app stores.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs influencing organic growth.
Must have:
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in managing SEO for a digital first brand that has a app and website.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio.
  • Proficient tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Rank Math, etc.
  • Solid experience with WordPress, including content publishing and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social networking sites, search engines, and app stores.
  • Prior experience managing a team is essential.
