Title - Content Lead

Experience: 7 - 8 years

Expected Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Opportunity Type: Full Time

Engagement Type: JP Nagar , Bengaluru - Onsite ( 6 Days working Mandatory )

Location: Bengaluru

Compensation: 15 to 18 LPA ( As per experience )

About the role

You ll work closely with the Head of Content in creating a 360-degree content strategy and executing it. You will lead a team of writers to ensure that we effectively use content to inform our consumers about the brands products, how they are made, Indian agriculture, and help the brand bridge the gap between consumers and the source of their food.

The ideal candidate has to be a professional with creative writing skills and the ability to generate as well as review content. You should perform well under deadlines, can manage multiple projects and be detail-oriented.

You ll help the team take content initiatives (which includes app content, the company blog and other marketing collateral) to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities


1. Content Strategy & Planning:

a. Work closely with the Head of Content to develop and execute overall content strategy to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty.
b. Create a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with the marketing, sales,
and product teams objectives, incorporating seasonal campaigns, product
launches, and brand initiatives.
c. Identify and capitalize on emerging content trends in the organic, health, and
sustainability space to keep content fresh and engaging.

2. Content Creation & Optimization:

a. Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats,
including blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, product descriptions, case
studies, and video scripts.
b. Ensure all content adheres to brands voice, values, and messaging
guidelines, while maintaining authenticity and clarity.
c. Optimize content for SEO, ensuring all content is search engine-friendly and
drives organic traffic to the website and other digital platforms.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

a. Work closely with the marketing, design, and digital teams to align content with
broader marketing campaigns, product messaging, and audience targeting.
b. Collaborate with the product team to understand key product features and
benefits, translating them into compelling content that resonates with
customers.

4. Content Performance & Analytics:

a. Regularly analyze content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion
rates) to assess the effectiveness of content strategies.
b. Use data insights to refine content strategies, improve content formats, and
enhance audience engagement.
c. Report on key content metrics and provide recommendations for optimization
based on audience behavior and industry trends.

5. Brand Advocacy & Thought Leadership:

a. Position the brand as a thought leader in the organic and
sustainability space by developing authoritative, educational, and insightful
content.
b. Work on building the brand s online presence, fostering community
engagement, and amplifying brands unique value proposition through
storytelling.

6. Quality Control & Editorial Excellence:

a. Ensure all content undergoes thorough quality checks, including proofreading,
editing, and ensuring accuracy in facts and brand representation.
b. Maintain editorial consistency across all touchpoints of the customer journey,
ensuring that all materials reflect the brand s core values and messaging.

7. Team Leadership & Mentoring:

a. Lead and manage a team of content writers, designers, and other creative
professionals, ensuring high standards of quality, creativity, and consistency.
b. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior content team members, helping
them grow in their writing, creative processes, and professional development.
c. Foster a collaborative, innovative environment, encouraging team members to
share ideas and continuously improve content processes.

Key Qualifications:

7-8 years of experience in content strategy, content management, and team leadership,with a strong portfolio of content that demonstrates creativity, strategy, and results.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of content creators, designers, and marketers
to execute complex content projects.
Expertise in developing content strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and
conversions, especially within the food, agriculture, organic, or sustainability industries.
Deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and how to leverage
content to enhance organic reach.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
Strong experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and
social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and ability to interpret
data to refine content strategies.

Good to have:
Experience in the organic food industry, sustainable agriculture, or wellness content is
highly desirable.
Familiarity with email marketing, e-commerce, or branded content.
Proficiency with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
Ability to produce and oversee multimedia content (videos, infographics, podcasts).
