Key Role:

Database Development:

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases.

Create and modify database structures, objects, and schemas.

Develop complex stored procedures, functions, and scripts.

Optimize and tune database performance.

Data Integration:

Integrate data from various data sources and formats.

Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.

Implement backup and recovery procedures.

Ensure data security and compliance with regulations.

Manage database access and permissions.

Develop reports using SSRS or other reporting tools.

Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements.

Implement data visualization and dashboard solutions.

Work closely with software developers to design and optimize application databases.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

Maintain documentation for database designs and reporting solutions.

Ensure adherence to data management and governance standards.

Develop and enforce database development best practices.

Skills:

Proficient in T-SQL and writing complex SQL queries.

Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Familiarity with database security practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
