NPD Engineer (New Product Development)

Position-NPD Engineer

Experience-Minimum 2 years

Location- Banmajra, Kurali (Nearby Chandigarh)

Role and Responsibilities

1. To assist In-charge NPD / Plant Head for daily assigned tasks.

2. Develop the new drawing (2D) from samples and customer drawings.

3. 3D modeling of assembly as per instructions of In-charge (NPD) / Plant Head.

4. Die design (forging parts) 3D Model.

5. To prepare inspection sheet for in-process inspection as well as final inspection and maintain the drawing records.

6. Control the new drawing and issue to concerned department in case of an ECN.

7. To coordinate with Tool Room and Quality department for new development as well as revision in drawings.

8. To ensure effective implementation of controlled system of drawing management system.

9. To assist for sample management system.

10. Responsible to implement SOP, WI, KAIZEN and QMS documents.

11. Responsible for maintaining 5S at workplace.

12. In case of absence from duty, he is responsible for assigning his duties to sub-ordinates to ensure effective implementation of his responsibilities.

13. Responsible for special assignments given by top management from time to time.
