Job Description
Job Summary :
Diploma (or) B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical with 4 to 6 years of work experience in industrial product development
Job Requirements :
Basic:
1. Design Engineering Fits Tolerance, GDT, Engineering Calculations
2. Materials Knowledge Metals, Polymers Elastomers
3. Manufacturing Process Knowledge Casting, Forging, Machining, Assembly, Molding and Surface treatment
4. Knowledge of Inspection Instruments Gauges
5. Root cause identification of Quality issues of parts in a product.
6. Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, MS Office applications
7. Experience in product development processes like APQP, DFMEA, DVPR, DFMA
8. Product reliability, compliance certification experience
9. Knowledge on National and International standards of products, materials, processes etc.
Core Function:
1. Knowledge in a complete range of New Product Development activities like Determination of requirements, Conceptual Design, Preliminary / Detailed Design, Stack Up analysis, Prototyping, Verification and Validation, Manufacturing, Production sing etc.,
2. Experience in product test planning and execution as per reliability standards and compliance requirements
3. Knowledge in designing and optimization of pneumatic / hydraulic seals springs will be an added advantage
4. Experience in pneumatic product development will be an added advantage
