Role Objective

The Hot Dip Forging Specialist/Manager will lead the forging unit with full responsibility for production planning, equipment management, quality assurance, and process optimization. This role requires deep technical expertise, proactive leadership, and strong coordination skills to deliver high-quality forged products, meeting both customer requirements and operational goals.

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

1. ⁠Supervise and manage hot dip forging operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.

2. Optimize forging parameters to achieve desired material properties and dimensions.

3. Ensure all forged products meet required specifications and standards

4. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality deviations.

5. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot forging equipment to minimize downtime.

6. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the forging unit.

7. Train and supervise forging operators and technicians

8. Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvements.

9. Overall responsible for Production planning and scheduling

10. Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding technical specifications and requirements.

11. Die development / new product development

12. ⁠Material inspection and testing

13. ⁠Process improvement and validations.

14. ⁠Ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control
