Electrical Engineer

We are looking for electrical Engineer, responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems in forging machines. This role involves working with industrial electrical systems, including control panels, motors, and related equipment. The engineer will ensure the continuous and efficient operation of forging machines, provide technical support, and implement preventive maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Commissioning:
  
• Oversee the electrical installation and setup of new forging machines, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct thorough commissioning of electrical systems to verify operational functionality and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical equipment.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  
• Perform routine and emergency electrical maintenance on forging machines and associated equipment (e.g., control panels, motors, sensors).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and failures in a timely and efficient manner to minimize machine downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify electrical issues, ensuring accurate and effective problem-solving.
• Preventive Maintenance:
  
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical components in forging machines to extend machine life and optimize performance.
• Monitor the condition of electrical equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
• Ensure that all electrical systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Technical Support and Documentation:
  
• Provide technical support to production teams in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment installations, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Prepare technical reports, including analysis of machine performance, breakdown incidents, and troubleshooting solutions.
• System Upgrades and Optimization:
  
• Recommend and implement electrical system upgrades to improve machine efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Assist in the design and integration of new electrical systems to support machine optimization or new production requirements.
• Safety and Compliance:
  
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including electrical safety protocols and machine safeguarding procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standards, including IEC, NEC, and ISO standards.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments of electrical systems and equipment.
• Collaboration and Training:
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, production managers, and technicians, to ensure smooth machine operations.
• Provide training to operators and technicians on the safe use and maintenance of electrical systems in forging machines.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Additional certifications or training in industrial electrical systems, automation, or PLC systems is a plus.
• Experience:
  
• Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machines, preferably in forging or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with control systems, PLCs, motor drives, and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Skills:
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components in industrial settings.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) and other testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and SCADA systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and providing technical support.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
