Job Description
The Member Technology Associate will be the primary point of contact for the Member Technology Team, ensuring a seamless IT experience for WeWork members. They will develop and implement tailored IT solutions, assist with installations, and provide ongoing support. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional technology services to both members and location-based employee teams while leveraging innovative technologies to enhance the Member Experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the on-site Community Team and WeWork Members by resolving advanced technical issues and implementing appropriate solutions
- Provide prompt responses to member requests while managing and maintaining the Salesforce Service Cloud system
- Diagnose technical issues, design and implement resolutions efficiently
- Install and support IT services, including network resources and peripherals
- Guide Community Team members in providing Level 1 IT support for members
- Configure network printing resources, including print servers, printers, and other peripheral devices
- Identify recurring IT issues and collaborate with relevant Member Technology teams for resolution
- Monitor and ensure the reliability of WeWork s Member Technology Infrastructure
- Work closely with Community, Networking, Audio-Visual, IT Business Development teams, and third-party vendors to perform cabling repairs and approved installations
- Obtain vendor quotes and coordinate with procurement teams for PO releases
- Manage vendor relationships and escalate issues as needed
- Support and contribute to various Member Technology projects and initiatives
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant technology field
- 2-3 years of experience in IT endpoint support
- 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support (fieldwork preferred); CCNA knowledge is a plus
- Strong understanding of data networking principles and architecture
- Experience in vendor management, including obtaining quotes and coordinating with procurement teams for PO releases
- Ability to manage vendor escalations effectively
- Contribution to various Member Technology projects and initiatives
- Expertise in Microsoft and Apple business applications and operating systems (End-user IT services)
- Strong customer service skills, including empathy, diplomacy, and problem resolution
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proficiency in using support tools to improve problem-solving efficiency and productivity
