About the Role:

Responsibilities:
Daily Operations: Execute daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, revenue, and voucher reconciliations, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Update project management tools (e. , ClickUp) with task progress and completion.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and submit weekly reports within deadlines.
- Analyze account data to identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies.
Client Communication:
- Deliver deliverables to clients promptly on the scheduled date.
- Respond promptly to emails and inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and report any delays or challenges encountered during task execution.
- Proactively share ideas and suggestions to improve operational efficiency and address challenges.
Knowledge Sharing:
- Guide and mentor Level I team members on draft clearing procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and consistent performance.
Project Support:
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and assist with other accounting tasks as required.
Goals:
- Expand Accounting Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of various accounting areas, including management accounts preparation, expense reviews, accruals, prepayments, etc.
- Develop Financial Acumen: Develop a strong understanding of the Profit & Loss statement and balance sheet, including the rationale for preparing schedules and resolving related issues.
Requirements:
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to identify and correct numerical errors.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software (e. , Xero).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
