- Soulflower is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) / Reconciliation Specialist to join our finance team at our Marol, Mumbai office.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

- This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the company and requires a strong - understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of various accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany accounts.

- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies or variances in financial records.

- Prepare and post journal to correct or adjust account balances as necessary.

- Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all reconciliations are completed and discrepancies are resolved.

- Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all reconciliations, adjustments, and related correspondence.

- Reporting: Prepare and present reconciliation reports to management, highlighting any issues or areas of concern.

- Compliance: Ensure that all reconciliation processes comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve reconciliation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:.

- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounts reconciliation or a similar role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e. , Tally, or ERP systems).

- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis.

- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
