You will be working on complex data migrations, modernizing legacy applications and building new applications on the cloud for large enterprise and/or growth stage startups. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly into mission critical projects directly interacting with business stakeholders, customers technical teams and MongoDB solutions Architects.

Location : Bangalore

Experience :

- 8+ yrs of relevant experience in testing mobile and web applications.

- Experience in Automation and manual testing across mobile and web platforms.

- Must possess a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and be ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely follow-up and follow-through.

What we are looking for :

- Understand business requirements accurately and create test plans, test cases and test scenarios to make sure that all aspects of testing are covered.

- Extensive experience across all phases of software testing life cycle (STLC).

- Having hands on experience in Functional, GUI, Smoke, Regression, Ad Hoc, Load, and Performance testing across Web and Mobile platforms (iOS, Android).

- Experience with automation and manual testing for web and mobile applications.

- Capability to drive continuous implementation and improvements on automation testing practices within the organization. (Appium, Selenium, etc)

- Experience testing and automating REST APIs.

- Exposure and keen eye for UX/UI design and testing.

- Triage and agree upon severity/ priority with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Prepare/ Review QA reports and present to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Perform RCA on a need basis for QA failure and update existing test cases/ plans.

- Document learnings and use them for future test case planning.

- Ability to quickly learn application functionality and business.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and projects.

- A real passion and knowledge for latest developments in testing of mobile and web technologies.

- Exposure to Agile development process with sprint planning and retrospectives.

- High attention to detail for finding/reporting bugs and high communication skills.

Additional Desired Competencies (- Bonus points) :

- Knowledge of or familiarity with scripting languages such as Java or Python.

- Capable to execute database queries.

- Developing Automation test scripts.

- Experience in deploying builds across various cloud or on premise servers (AWS, Heroku, etc)
