WarpDrive Tech Works - Salesforce Solution Architect - Apex/Visual Force (3-8 yrs)

We are looking for a Technical Specialist (Solution Architect) to work as part of our Delivery Team. This person will lead consultative discussions with enterprise customers and partner with key stakeholders to create compelling visions. Execute and serve as a hands-on advisor to deliver customer ROI. Understanding business requirements and guiding the technical specialists to deliver high quality technical solutions. Demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. Candidates will be working collaboratively with client and project teams as well as working from proposal development to deployment and support.

Areas of responsibility :

- Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment.

- Successfully design and manage the integration of salesforce.com with other systems and custom extensions to the salesforce.com product.

- Be a subject matter expert (SME) in salesforce.com integration and extension, features, designing solutions, using the salesforce.com API, APEX, Visualforce and other tools that extend the product.

- Document as-is and to-be architecture solutions. Present complex solutions options and benefits to key technical program stakeholders.

- Efficiently manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, prioritization and communication.

- Work closely with Business Analysis Specialists, Technical Specialists and clients to architect technology solutions needed to support key customer business processes.

- Recommend best practice solution designs based on client business needs.

- Map business requirements to system/technical requirements.

- Understand the technical depth of the project and provide functional and technical direction to the project team.

- Run the complex projects that your solution (including the management of project timelines, deliverables, and resources during all project phases), from requirements gathering through go-live and project close out.

- Engage in practice development initiatives and regularly provide thought leadership in at least one industry vertical or

- Salesforce knowledge area back to the larger team.

- Develop roadmaps and hands on code as needed.

- Guide and lead salesforce.com integration and development activities. Provide timeline and resource management for the integration and development.

- Ensure design is architected correct and meets salesforce.com best practices.

- Author the technical design specifications, manage overall development, validation, and deployment plans.

- Provide best practices guidance to Technical Specialists and Client technical teams. Coordinate deployment activities.

- Collaborate with the Salesforce technical team to ensure Salesforce development teams follow best practices when architecting, programming or documenting solutions.

- Work with Salesforce technical team to design and implement deployment automation and CI/CD tools and promote adoption by the entire Salesforce development team.

The Developer responsibilities include :

- Customize, develop and support solutions on salesforce.com platform

- Develop, test, document and deploy high quality solutions for our clients

- Working closely with clients and the development team to determine the project requirements

- Document unit test scripts and record test results post completion of development

- Review self and peer's code/configuration as part of review process

- Strong understanding of the SDLC

- (Agile and Waterfall approaches and tools)

- Advanced Salesforce customization/coding (Apex & Visualforce development)

- Salesforce data loading & using data loader/Data stage/related tools

- Lightning component experience preferred

- Knowledge in Java/.Net Programming & OOPs concepts is an added advantage

- Basic source control knowledge Git/SVN

- Proficient in building integrated solution involving web services using both REST and SOAP

- Strong in RDBMS concepts, SQL and SOQL query languages and ER concepts

- Experience of developing using Eclipse/Mavens Mate IDE

- Hands on experience in migrating code/configuration to production is an added advantage

If you had been at WarpDrive in the last 6 months, you would have :

- Developed the entire force.com salesforce app to track orders for a small scale rental services.

- Developed specific modules for the Sales Cloud implementation working with the team at customer location.

- Fixed production issues of a Force.com implementation for retail customers.

- Developed Salesforce Flows to enable call scripting for Service Cloud implementation.

- Developed a working prototype for custom forecast in Sales Cloud.
