Senior Salesforce Vlocity Developer (5-8 yrs)

Role Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team, with hands-on experience in Velocity OmniStudio, CPQ, and Industries Order Management solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and optimizing industry-specific solutions using Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), particularly focusing on CPQ and Order Management modules.

Responsibilities :

- Velocity OmniStudio Development : Design, develop, and implement OmniStudio solutions, including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors, to automate and streamline business processes.

- CPQ & Order Management Solutions : Implement and customize Salesforce Industries CPQ and Order Management (OM) modules to streamline the configuration, pricing, quoting, and order fulfillment processes for clients.

- Industry Cloud Expertise : Leverage Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) capabilities to design solutions that meet industry-specific needs, ensuring that CPQ and OM solutions align with business requirements.

- Customization & Integration : Develop customized components and workflows within OmniStudio, ensuring seamless integration with external systems (e.g, ERP systems, payment gateways, etc.) and other Salesforce applications.

- Collaboration & Consulting : Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

- Code Quality & Optimization : Ensure best practices for development, conduct peer reviews, and optimize performance for complex, enterprise-level solutions.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure smooth operation.

- Documentation & Training : Document solutions, provide technical training to junior developers and business teams, and ensure knowledge sharing across the team.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay up to date with the latest features and updates from Salesforce Industries and Velocity, and continuously improve the codebase to leverage new capabilities and enhance business processes.

Skill and Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Salesforce, including extensive experience with Velocity OmniStudio and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) modules such as CPQ and Order Management (OM).

- In-depth knowledge of OmniStudio components like OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards.

- Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ, including configuration, pricing, quoting, and integration with external systems.

- Proficient in Salesforce Industries Order Management (OM) functionality, workflows, and customization.

- Strong Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Component development experience.

- Integration expertise with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and web services.

- Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools like Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Reports.

- Experience with Version Control (e.g, Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deploying code through tools like Salesforce DX or Jenkins.

- Familiarity with Agile development practices and project management tools (e.g, Jira, Confluence).

- Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g, Platform Developer I & II) and Salesforce Industries Certifications (Vlocity Developer/CPQ/Order Management) are a plus.
