Roles and Responsibilities

• Sourcing from different locations globally Basic requirement
• Responsible to orders and timely delivery.
• Knowledge of Casting & machine components
• Verification of offers received from various suppliers and vendors and confirms the reliability.
• Required for rubber to metal manufacture
• Facilitating all Direct and Indirect Purchase.
• Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of major commodity vendors and locations.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Somebody who can head the entire purchase function.
• Budgeting and cost comparison,Proficient in cost analysis.
• Handling major commodities - Plastic,sheet metal, Fabrication
• Handling sourcing through identification of cost effective vendors/suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality and reliability.
• Sending enquiries for purchasers , issuing of purchase order, and work order , making comparative statements for purchaser.
• Over all procurement and SCM of materials Specialist in vendor development and vendor management.
• Support Innovation & Technology dept. for end to end responsible for all NPD Purchase activities of new JV's project including Getting Proper requirement from internal customer, Floating RFQ to suppliers, Get offers from suppliers, zero base costing, Offer Evolution, PO preparation, PO Approvals, on time delivery, Get approved sample from quality etc.
• Quote analysis & Techno - Commercial Negotiation with suppliers for finalization of part cost as well as tool cost.
• Cost reduction through Alternate Sourcing, Change in Manufacturing Process with assurance of same quality for cost effectiveness.
• Detail study of monthly production plan and generate requirement as per priority of production.
