Team and Position Summary:
At IDC We work on Front end and Backend Technologies hosted on in-premises private cloud, Public Cloud Hosted and Applications across rWeb, Android and IOS for Walmart US market. We are responsible for architecture, design and delivery of programs within the areas we own.This eco system uses Core java Technologies, Azure Cloud Technologies, React.JS, React Native, Node.JS, Java and powering Complex transactional and Big Data Systems
Position Responsibilities:
Broad knowledge of Java, design patterns and programming best practices.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling.
Adhere to coding best practices, responsible for quality of code, documentation, testing, monitoring and delivery of features.
Able to communicate with stake holders and drive features development with minimal guidance from Leads and Managers.

Position Requirements:

• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science
• 2-6 years of strong design/development experience overall, with 4+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Significant experience in Java 8 or above, lambda functions, streams, and related technologies.
• Experience developing micro-services architecture, and good understanding of distributed concepts, common design principles, design patterns and cloud concepts.
• Good understanding of service-oriented architecture, inter dependency service management and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience in Spring boot, concurrency, garbage collection, RESTful services, data caching services and ORM tools.
• Experience working with Relational Database and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in working with NoSQL Databases like cosmos DB or similar.
• Experience in working with Caching technology like Redis, Mem cache or other related Systems.
• Strong in writing modular and testable code and test cases (unit, functional and integration) using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Mock MVC
• Significant experience working with React web and mobile along with tools like Flux, Flow, Redux.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, functional programming, and front-end languages.
• Strong knowledge of React fundamentals such as Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, and component state
• Experience utilising monitoring and alert tools like Prometheus, Splunk, and other related systems and excellent in debugging and troubleshooting issues.
• Building tools and CI/CD tools to automate code pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Concord, Maven, and Gradle).
• Experience in Containerisation tools like Docker, Helm, Kubernetes.
• Experience with public cloud platforms like Azure, GCP etc
• Experience in automation tests scripts, performance tests (jMeter) and DevOps orientation would be a plus.
• Good knowledge on Retail domain.
