Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Identification & Evaluation:

  • Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

• Negotiation & Contract Management:

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to meet the company s needs.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all terms are adhered to.

• Market Research & Trend Analysis:

  • Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices to anticipate changes in supply chains and to find cost-effective sourcing opportunities.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments such as Purchasing, Logistics, and Product Development to understand their sourcing needs and forecast future requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with business goals.

• Supplier Performance & Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery times, and cost.
  • Manage supplier audits and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

• Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports for senior management regarding sourcing activities, cost savings, and market trends.

• Cost Optimization:

  • Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities through improved supplier relationships, alternative sourcing options, and innovative procurement strategies.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and work to develop mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Sourcing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, procurement processes, and vendor management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess supplier capabilities, market trends, and cost structures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement management software.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.
• Familiarity with international sourcing and global supply chains.
• Experience in [specific industry, e.g., technology, manufacturing, etc.] is a plus.
