Job Description
Employment Type: Full-time
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (preferred) or other automation tools.
- Create and maintain manual test cases and test plans based on project requirements.
- Perform comprehensive performance testing and identify bottlenecks.
- Conduct thorough manual testing of new features and functionality to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Create and maintain detailed test reports, documenting issues clearly and efficiently.
- Report and track bugs in Jira or other bug tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing as part of the software release cycle.
- Continuously analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for issues encountered during testing.
- Ensure test coverage and quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation processes and tools.
- If applicable, perform testing for AI/ML-related applications and systems .
- Utilize GitHub Copilot to create test cases and validate automation results.
- Take ownership of test activities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Be flexible with working hours to accommodate project needs.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in QA automation testing.
- Expertise in Selenium (preferred) and other automation tools, with proficiency in Python, Java , and pytest or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience in performance testing using relevant tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Strong experience in manual testing , including test case creation, test management, and bug reporting.
- Proficient in using Jira or other test management/bug tracking tools.
- Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools .
- Ability to work independently , take ownership of tasks, and drive test execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Experience in GitHub Copilot for test automation is a plus.
- Any experience in testing AI applications or knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) or Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
- Experience with other test automation tools or frameworks .
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies .
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation into them.
- Experience with AI/ML-based testing and applications is highly desirable.
