About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of functional testing, automation frameworks, and modern testing tools and methodologies. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by leveraging automation, optimizing code, and integrating CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform functional testing , including writing test cases, creating test scenarios, and developing comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and execute automated test cases using Java or Python with tools like Selenium and Cucumber .
- Design, implement, and maintain various automation frameworks, including data-driven , hybrid , and BDD .
- Automate API test cases and ensure robust backend validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.
- Write optimized and reusable code to enhance the scalability of testing solutions.
- Manage and configure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure ADO .
- Conduct database validations and ensure seamless integration of database testing.
Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in functional testing , including creating test scenarios, writing test cases, and developing test plans.
- Hands-on experience in test automation using Java or Python with tools such as Selenium and Cucumber .
- Proficiency in automating API testing and working with tools like Postman or RestAssured (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of databases and SQL for testing purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to design and work with various testing frameworks ( data-driven, hybrid, BDD ).
- Strong programming skills for writing reusable and optimized code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps .
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with cloud-based environments and testing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
