A Software QA Engineer is essential for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products. Key responsibilities include:
Designing and Implementing Tests: Create and execute test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance
Debugging and Defining Corrective Actions: Identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented.
Reviewing Requirements: Assess system requirements and technical design documents to provide timely feedback and ensure clarity.
Tracking Quality Metrics: Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
Collaboration: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure that quality standards are met throughout the development process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Science / MCA or equivalent
Total testing experience of 6 - 8 years, having worked primarily on web-based or mobile applications.
Experience in Web based application testing.
Experience with testcase management tools like Test Rail or Jira is a plus
Exposure to API testing tools like SoapUI or Postman is a plus
Experience of writing SQL queries and functions is a plus.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
