Data Analytics Developer - Reporting Tools (1-2 yrs)

Data Analytics Developer.

Job Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, management, and support of Data & Analytics Solutions services to meet identified business needs.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, understand and gather data requirements, business rules, and transformation logic.

- Analyze source data structures and formats.

- Design and develop reports and analyses in various Data & Analytics Solutions environments.

- Develop MS-SQL queries and procedures and create custom reports to enhance organizational productivity.

- Query several large and complex SQL databases to provide high quality reporting solutions.

- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

- Ensure the solution is delivered within the required time frame and that it meets with the business requirements.

- Handle routine tasks needed in the different solutions developed and maintained by Data & Analytics Solutions.

- Provide timely scheduled management reporting.

- Investigate exceptions regarding asset movements.

- Transition developed solutions to the Operations and Support teams.

- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of tools for both external and internal users.

- Oversee ad-hoc and operational reports.

- Understanding of the scientific process (generally) to understand the regulated nature of the data - An asset.

Required Experience & Skills :

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in the job discipline (analytics and data mining).

- Proven ability to write and execute moderate to complex SQL queries.

- Excellent knowledge of databases and database terminology.

- Skilled at capturing stakeholder needs and transforming into high level and detailed requirements which can be delivered against.

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
