Linux Technical Support Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Linux system issues.
• Assist in developing Ansible scripts to deploy Delinea/Centrify.
• Install, configure, and maintain Delinea/Centrify tool on Linux systems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and collaborate effectively to find solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
• Managing implementations, Application team coordination and change management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Linux Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and CentOS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Understanding of Identity and Access Management.
• Understanding of PAM based Authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Proficiency with Active Directory (AD) and LDAP for user and group management.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Delinea Server Suite (Centrify) authentication products. 
• Ansible and Scripting knowledge.
• Scripting skills using Ansible.ilities
