Senior .Net Developer

Position: Sr .NET Developer

Work location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore, Hybrid

Key skills: .NET, Net Core, ASP, C#, Angular.

• 6+ or more years of experience in enterprise / web software development including both
• server side and front end.
• Solid knowledge of .NET framework, .Net Core, ASP, MVC, C#, WCF/Web API, Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, SQL, XML, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, WCF, LINQ, ODBC and other drivers for database connectivity.
• Responsive web development experience and understanding of cross-browser development techniques.
• Strong grasp of OO programming principles.
• A good understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to adapt to new programming languages/technologies
• Database: IBM DB2, Oracle.
• Server/OS: Windows Server 2016 and above

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience in Payment Systems domain, Retail & Ecommerce.
• Knowledge about payment processes like Authorization and Settlement/Reconciliation of Credit/Debit Cards, Giftcards etc.
• Knowledge about handling of customer disputes and chargebacks
• Agile methodology

Roles & Responsibility:

• Design, develop, and implement high-performance, scalable applications, new features and/or enhancements to existing Backoffice web applications using .NET Core.
• Architect and maintain microservices-based applications with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure the quality of the team's work.
• Design and implement APIs and integration strategies to supporting applications.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment of new features and updates.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and tools in the .NET ecosystem and microservices
• Understand As-Is business processes like Settlement, Authorization, Chargeback etc., related to Payment Card Industry
• Work with team members, the business decision makers and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals and to identify and help resolve business systems issues with Credit Service Portal (CSP) and other web application used by
• Payments Backoffice Team and Business Clients.
• Document all high-level functional and technical requirements for payments back office web applications.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth testing (System, Integration and UAT testing), including end-user reviews, for modified and new features in Payment web applications.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to end users(Backoffice and Business clients) as well as Application Support team for all modified and new features.
