Manger / Senior Manager Operations Overview :
Operations managers oversee the organizational activities of business organizations. These professionals are talented managers and leaders. They support operational leadership in a variety of departments. At both large and small organizations, operations managers supervise, hire, and train employees, manage quality assurance programs, strategize process improvements, and more. Operations managers are ultimately responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of a business, agency, or organization.
Role of Manager / Senior Manager Operations :
The person will typically need to take a lead role and:
• Ensuring both operational & financial KPIs achieved Partner with multiple teams to ensure smooth functioning
• Manage and develop the operational client relationships by conducting (where appropriate) operational client review meetings and day to day ops liaison within key workstream
• Identify, highlight and consult on further automation, optimization and process improvement opportunities
• Execute a well-defined Communication and Engagement model in place to ensure their teams understand the performance of our business and that they understand the needs of the teams
• Ensure focused engagement program for people in place and implemented
• Responsible for customer satisfaction
• Ensure identification and mitigation of risks within process, people and technology
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
• Manage multiple COEs to derive operational excellence
• Partner with cross-functional support teams to improvise the proprietary tools and systems
• Work closely with compliance departments to ensure that all processes are compliant
• Lead/manage ongoing transitions with adherence to transition tollgates
• Responsible for Business continuity
Requirements :
A seasoned professional with strong delivery experience having below mentioned core skills:
• Bachelors/Masters degree from a recognized institute or University
• Work experience of 15+ years
• In-depth knowledge of US Retirement process and products
• Highly results-oriented with ability to work under strict deadlines, meet deadlines, and maintain focus
• Should possess strong networking skills
• Strong managerial, planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills.
• Good analytical and quantitative skills; excellent organizational skills for tasks, work environment and documentation
• Excellent communications skills
• Should be self-starter, self-motivator, proactive & target oriented
• Should possess strong networking skills
• Should have good knowledge in MS office applications
• Makes decisions within guidelines, balancing risk and service needs, seeking assistance from manager as necessary
• Should be flexible to work in evening/night shifts and must extend when business required
• Knowledge on SLA/Attrition/Quality
• Hands-on transition and project management experience in a global environment
Domain Requirement (Mandatory)
The project requires the candidate to have knowledge of:
• Retirements/Wealth experience in the US market is a must
