Since its inception, the Energy Solutions client has become a leader in providing green mobility solutions. As the company has grown exponentially, the management team feels the need to have a senior HR leader amongst them who can lead the HR functions for the company. As the HR Head, the incumbent will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's business goals. This role requires an experienced leader adept in change management, talent development, and performance optimisation. The HR Head will play a pivotal role in culture building and conflict management to ensure a motivated and high-performing workforce.
Change Management:
- Lead change initiatives to foster growth, ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
- Develop and implement change management strategies that drive company-wide transformations while minimising resistance.
- Support continuous adaptation to industry changes and business needs.
Learning and Development:
- Design and execute comprehensive learning & development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career growth.
- Identify training needs through performance assessments and strategic objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.
Conflict Management:
- Act as a problem-solver for internal conflicts, ensuring resolutions and maintaining a harmonious workplace.
- Develop systems and policies for conflict resolution and ensure adherence.
- Train managers in conflict resolution techniques to empower them to handle disputes effectively.
Culture Building:
- Cultivate a positive company culture that aligns with organizational values and business objectives.
- Implement initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, job satisfaction, and organizational loyalty.
Performance Management:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of performance management systems, including KPIs, employee appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
- Work with department heads to implement action plans for underperforming employees and reward top performers.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies.
- Ensure that policies are effectively communicated and adhered to across the organization.
- Streamline HR operations to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.
Talent Planning & Acquisition:
- Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent in alignment with company growth plans.
- Develop a strategic workforce planning approach to anticipate talent needs and build a robust talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring requirements and fill key roles with candidates who align with the company culture.
Candidate's Background:
The Energy Solutions client works across multiple BUs and JVs. The HR Head will need to be responsible for managing a very dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and complex teams.
To be suitable, the HR Head must have:
- Master's degree in HR from a reputed institute.
- At least 15 years of total experience with the last 5 years in the lead role.
- Deep experience of manufacturing space with experience in power storage or the automotive sectors will be preferred.
- Managed HR for plant / manufacturing unit
- Prior experience in building strong culture is required
- Must have worked in dynamic companies and resolved conflict and successfully implemented change
