About the Role: The company is in the process of improving efficiencies and reducing procedural losses and for the same if looking for a suitably experienced executive to join the company and be part of the Program Management Office.
Key Responsibilities:
PMO Strategy & Governance:
- Establish and implement the Project Management Office (PMO) framework, including project governance, methodologies, templates, and tools.
- Define project management standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project compliance with PMO guidelines, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple IT support services projects.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Drive effective communication between project teams, clients, and senior leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
Portfolio Management:
- Maintain an enterprise-level view of all active and upcoming projects.
- Prioritize projects based on business impact, ROI, and resource availability.
- Ensure effective capacity planning and resource utilization across projects.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into project health, risks, and progress.
- Analyze KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost adherence, resource productivity, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide periodic status updates to leadership, highlighting challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and refine PMO processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and project outcomes.
- Implement tools like MS Project, JIRA, or ServiceNow to automate and streamline project management workflows.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices.
Team Development:
- Lead and mentor project managers and coordinators to build a high-performing team.
- Provide training on project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and PMO standards.
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of PMO processes.
