Zonal Portfolio Head

Role & responsibilities -

• Manage area credit heads and their teams below (cluster & branch) on their deliverables.
• Responsible for mentoring, hiring & skill enhancement of the team.
• To build a highly motivated, engaged and outcome focussed team
• Responsible for delivering quality & timely underwriting of cases.
• Responsible for managing the portfolio risk of the zone allocated.
• Implementing/assisting in centrally driven projects/initiatives/processes and policies.
• Coordination with Business team on deliverables of mutual KRAs.
• Coordination with Internal Audit/Compliance Dept. on maintaining the due compliances and corrective actions accordingly.
• Coordination with Collections team on delinquency management.

Job Requirements -

Graduate . 

Minimum experience of 10 years with 8 years of experience in credit underwriting and with minimum of 3 years experience in mortgage products.

Mandatory have handled state or higher-level roles in underwriting for atleast 2 years with minimum 5 years of team handling experience.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Good writing and speaking ability in English. Knowledge of local language must.

Good analytic skills, judgment and ability to make independent decisions informed by both quantitative and qualitative data.

Team handling, conflict management & peer management skills along with mentor mindset & strategic work management orientation.

Ability to work with minimal direction, to work with peers to deliver common goals Self-starter.

Ability to prioritize, delegate, handle ambiguous situations and proactively resolve problems.
