Role Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves supplier evaluation, procurement, bid support, inspections, and project management.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

- Oversee the execution and construction of solar plants above 10MW.

- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion within budget.

- Conduct supplier evaluation, vendor negotiations, and procurement as per BOQ.

- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during project execution.

- Coordinate with stakeholders, including DISCOMS and TRANSMISSION sector clients.

- Manage technical aspects of substation equipment, RMU, RTU, GIS, panels, VCBs, transformers, and solar plant components.

- Provide technical support in bid preparation and project documentation.

- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and risk assessment for ongoing projects.

- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices.

- Monitor project progress, create reports, and communicate updates to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- MBA is a plus.

- 5-8 years of experience in project execution and construction.

- Strong technical knowledge of solar plants.

- Expertise in procurement, supplier evaluation, and vendor management.

- Proficiency in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
