Job Title: Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and architects to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with all team members (designers, contractors, suppliers) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Ensure client expectations are met, and provide regular updates on progress, changes, or challenges.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work and manage client feedback.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Establish and maintain the project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and managed effectively.
- Track project expenses, and prepare cost estimates and reports for clients.
- Approve purchases of materials and resources within the budget constraints.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and motivate internal teams, including designers, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage and assign tasks to the team members, ensuring effective and efficient execution.
- Schedule meetings and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that design specifications and quality standards are adhered to at all stages of the project.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure that the installation and execution of designs are in line with the approved concepts.
- Address issues and resolve challenges that arise during the execution phase to maintain project integrity.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify potential risks in the project and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts with contractors, suppliers, or clients to keep the project on track.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, safety standards, and other legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and progress reports.
Post-Project Evaluation:
- Conduct project debriefs with clients and internal teams to review performance.
- Gather feedback and ensure the successful handover of completed projects.
- Manage warranty and follow-up issues after project completion.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in interior design or construction.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Work Environment:
- Office and on-site project locations.
- Occasional travel required for site visits and client meetings.
