Assistant Vice President - Treasury Audit - Banking (6-7 yrs)

About the role:

The bank is seeking an experienced AVP - Treasury Audit to independently manage treasury audit functions. The ideal candidate must have 6-7 years of exclusive banking experience, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal audit standards within treasury operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct independent audits of treasury operations, including forex, investments, ALM, liquidity, and risk management.

2. Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, internal policies, and risk control frameworks.

3. Evaluate treasury processes, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

4. Assess effectiveness of hedging strategies, funding mechanisms, and trading activities.

5. Audit fund-raising activities, including debt issuances, non-convertible debentures (NCDs), commercial papers (CPs), and other borrowing instruments.

6. Review compliance of fund-raising transactions with regulatory and internal guidelines.

7. Prepare and present audit findings and risk assessments to senior management.

8. Liaise with regulatory bodies, risk, and finance teams for audit-related matters.

Core Competencies:

- 6-7 years of exclusive banking experience, preferably in treasury audit.

- Strong knowledge of RBI guidelines, risk management frameworks, fund- raising mechanisms, and banking treasury operations.

- Experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance, and treasury controls.

- Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

- Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, FRM, or CIA will be an advantage.
