Summary of the Role:
As a Sales Manager your role encompasses acquiring new customers and managing existing clients. Your primary responsibility is to drive customer acquisition, increase wallet share within the assigned market, and ensure the success and satisfaction of our customers. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive customer acquisition and success strategies, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to the growth of the company's customer base.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive customer acquisition and success strategy to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify target customer segments and develop effective strategies to reach and engage them.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to align strategies with company objectives.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closure, conducting presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations.
2. Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target customer organizations.
- Identify customer needs and pain points, presenting tailored solutions to address them.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance and support throughout the sales and post-sales cycle.
3. Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, conversion rates,and customer acquisition costs.
- Analyze sales and customer success data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on sales and customer success activities, progress towards targets and market feedback using Salesforce.

Key skills and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation in any field from a reputed institute MBA in Marketing or related field is desired.
- 5-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of the automotive or mobility industry is a plus.
