Position: National Sales Manager
Industry: Off Grid/Grid Tie/Hybrid Inverters
Experience: Minimum 15+ years' Experience with a minimum 3+ years in managing the selling of Grid-tied inverters on a PAN India level.
Job Description:
- Analyze market potential and pursue business opportunities pertaining to Grid tie inverters/Hybrid/Off-Grid inverters and other forms of power conditioners.
- Lead the business development, channel development and sales activities of the Inverter/ Solar.
- Formulate and implement pricing and other commercial policies including those for channel partners.
- Recruit and manage the sales team at various locations in the country, including planning, reviews and monitoring of their targets and activities.
- Supporting the design, quality, engineering, manufacturing and customer interfacing teams through appropriate technical and commercial and business inputs.
- Participating in various seminars, exhibitions and other promotional events.
- Carrying out training and mentoring as per the training needs identified.
- Propagate the use of IT, APPs and other forms of mobile communications so as to entirely replace legacy paper based systems, wherever applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets PAN India.
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and meet sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners within the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and work with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead in the competitive market.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the senior management team.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams towards achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of inverters, industrial equipment, machinery manufacturing industry and market trends.
- Experience and knowledge of Sales markets.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
