We're hiring for the Technical Document Writer (Contract Position)

Work Mode: Hybrid model 3-day work from the office.

Job Summary:

The Technical Document Writer is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining a wide

range of documentation, including technical manuals, user guides, reports, and procedures.

This role demands the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise,

and user-friendly content that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The ideal candidate will work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and

cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation meets the needs of various

stakeholders and adheres to company standards.

You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full product development life

cycle, from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document Writing and Editing:

• Create, edit, and proofread various types of documents, including reports,

manuals, procedures, and technical documentation.

• Ensure that all documentation is clear, concise, well-organized, and easy to

understand.

• Collaboration:

• Work with internal project teams and stakeholders to gather in-depth

knowledge about the problem context and solution.

• Collaborate with project managers after project initiation to provide access to

relevant documents based on project scope.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to create and update documents that

meet diverse stakeholder needs.

• Content Development:

• Research and gather information to develop accurate and relevant content.
• Translate complex technical information into user-friendly content for technical

audiences.

• Document Formatting and Standards:

• Format documents to ensure consistency, readability, and adherence to

company style guidelines.

• Develop and use templates for standard documents to maintain a consistent

look and feel.

• Version Control:

• Maintain version control by tracking changes and updates to ensure the most

current and accurate versions of documents are available to team members.

• Review and Approval Process:

• Coordinate the review and approval process, incorporating feedback from

various stakeholders.

• Ensure that documents comply with legal and regulatory requirements by

collaborating with legal and compliance teams.

• Documentation Management:

• Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all documents.
• Develop and implement best practices for document management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 2-5 years of experience in similar roles.

• Undergraduate degree with strong performance; a Masters degree and/or business

degree is a plus (B.E / B. Tech / MCA is preferred).

• Excellent written communication and documentation skills with great attention to

detail.

• Experience with documentation tools and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.

• Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines

and internal expectations for quality and accuracy.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization

skills.
