Brand Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead all the marketing initiatives of travel products for the designated category of the flagship brand.
• Extracting consumer insights from market research and liaising with design / development / manufacturing / creative agencies to execute new product launches.
• Responsible for supporting product design process, mining of consumer relevant innovation and maintaining the health of product portfolio.
• Works with design and creative agency for product development and brand communication.
• Accountable for driving category sales and support sales channels through execution of advertising, promotion and branding activities.
• Responsible for market size estimation, identifying market trends and shift in consumer preferences and pricing decisions pertaining to the category.
• Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of product lines.
• Responsible for tracking and mitigating competition actions.
• Responsible for driving various planning cycles (eg, long range plan, profit plan, operating plan) for the category.
• Annual budgeting and tracking performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Min 4-5 years of experience in brand management or product management in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Fashion
• MBA in Sales & Marketing, preferably from a premium B School
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Pro activeness & Go Getter Attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong in agency coordination for Marketing activities
• Strong understanding about Brand / Consumer / Category
