- Problem-Solving: Strong capability to address challenges and identify alternative solutions in a competitive landscape, identifying and developing new business opportunities within the telecommunications industry by building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions, while also managing existing customer accounts to drive revenue growth and market penetration, often requiring strong technical knowledge of telecom products and services, market trends, and excellent sales and negotiation skills.

Key responsibilities of a BD Manager Telecom:

Market analysis and opportunity identification:

- Researching the telecom market to identify potential clients, new market segments, and emerging technologies to develop targeted sales strategies.

Lead generation and qualification:

- Proactively reaching out to prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to generate leads and qualify them based on their needs and potential.

Customer relationship building:

- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at telecom companies, understanding their business challenges and presenting customized solutions.

Account management:

- Managing existing customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.

Product knowledge:

- Possessing in-depth knowledge of the company's telecom products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

Competitive analysis:

- Staying updated on competitor offerings and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Partner collaboration:

- Collaborating with internal teams like marketing, technical support, and operations to ensure smooth delivery of solutions to clients.
