Branch Auditor

Role & responsibilities

On-site branch audits:

• Conducting regular audits at different branch locations to assess financial records, cash
  handling, transactions, and compliance with company policies.

Transaction verification:

• Reviewing and analyzing various transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan disbursements to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.

Internal control evaluation:

• Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls implemented at each branch to mitigate financial risks.

Audit report preparation:

• Documenting audit findings, discrepancies, and recommendations in detailed reports for management review

Preferred candidate profile

• CA Inter or relevant accounting degree
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
• Experience in conducting financial audits, preferably within a banking or financial services industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
• Effective communication and reporting skills to present findings to management
• Proficient in audit software and data analysis tools
