Factory Coordinator

Job Overview

The coordinator will manage and oversee the coordination of activities related to the manufacturing, assembly, and dispatch of fire-fighting equipment. The role requires effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless operations and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Coordination
• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily activities in coordination with the Factory Manager.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components required for production.
• Liaise with procurement, quality control, and logistics teams for smooth operations.

1. Inventory Management
• Track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of fire-fighting equipment and spare parts.
• Conduct periodic audits to maintain accuracy in stock records.
2. Team Collaboration
• Act as a bridge between factory staff and management to ensure effective communication and workflow.
• Provide administrative support to production teams and address operational bottlenecks.
3. Compliance and Documentation
• Maintain records of production schedules, material usage, and equipment dispatch.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards for fire-fighting equipment manufacturing.
4. Customer and Vendor Coordination
• Interact with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
• Assist in responding to customer inquiries related to orders and dispatches.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in operations coordination, preferably in the fire-fighting or manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
