Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA - ETL Tester with strong expertise in Python and SQL to join our dynamic team. As part of our growing data pipeline team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of data flows in our system. The ideal candidate will have experience testing data pipelines, handling large data sets, and ensuring data integrity through automated testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

ETL Testing: Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of ETL processes to ensure data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded.

Data Validation: Validate large volumes of data through SQL queries and Python scripts, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for testing ETL processes and data pipelines.

SQL Queries: Write complex SQL queries to validate data across different data sources, and help identify discrepancies in the data.

Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on data flows.

Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with Azure or cloud-based data platforms is a plus, as well as experience testing in data science-related projects.

Reporting: Document and communicate test results, highlight issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve bugs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in ETL testing, with a focus on data validation.

Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python for writing test scripts and automating ETL tests.

SQL Proficiency: Extensive experience with writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure or cloud-based data services is highly preferred.

Tools: Experience with testing frameworks and tools for automation (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, etc.) is desirable.

Knowledge of Data Pipelines: Hands-on experience working with data pipelines, ensuring data quality and performance.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving data-related issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Education: B.Tech in any branch or specialization
