Key Accounts Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, including travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and other tourism service providers.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for business growth
• Lead and motivate a team of account executives, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
• Set performance targets, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to acquire new partners and expand collaboration with existing clients.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network, raise awareness, and generate interest in the tourism board as a top tourist destination.
• Provide key accounts with up-to-date information on tourism initiatives, investment opportunities, and infrastructure developments in the Tourism board.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in key account management within the tourism industry or related sectors.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with a track record of managing and developing key client accounts.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
