Planning Manager

1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop detailed project schedules using appropriate tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
• Define project milestones, critical paths, and deliverables for commercial interior fitout projects.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to align schedules and ensure seamless project execution.

2. Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying potential delays and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on project status, key milestones, and variances for stakeholders and management.
• Conduct time impact analysis for any project changes and evaluate their effect on the overall timeline.

3. Resource Allocation and Coordination:

• Work closely with project managers and site teams to allocate resources efficiently and address potential bottlenecks.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment as per the project plan.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to align their schedules with project timelines.

4. Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks related to timelines and resource availability.
• Develop contingency plans to address risks and minimize project disruptions.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for schedule-related matters.
• Communicate project schedules, updates, and critical deadlines to clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in commercial interior fitouts or construction projects.
• Proven expertise in managing timelines for fast-paced, high-end fitout projects.

2. Technical Knowledge:

• Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and sequencing specific to interior fitouts.
• Familiarity with resource leveling, critical path analysis, and earned value management.

3. Skills:
