What we want:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sr. Business Development Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of new clients and expansion of business opportunities within the existing customers. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the IT or web hosting sector, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

What you will do:

- Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and potential customer needs.

- Develop sales plans, identify target accounts, and create a pipeline of opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.

- Conduct regular client meetings to assess needs, provide solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.

- Proactively address any issues and provide exceptional customer service to retain long-term clients.

- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other lead generation methods.

- Qualify leads and set up meetings with potential clients to present tailored solutions.

- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the value proposition of offerings.

- Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales deals with clients.

- Collaborate with Billing and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

- Provide feedback from clients to product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.

- Maintain accurate records of calls, meetings and customer details in the CRM system.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience of 4+ years in business development, sales, or a related role within the web hosting or IT industry.

- Strong understanding of web hosting services and technology.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
