What you will do:
Executive Support and Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with the founder on daily tasks ranging from operational planning to strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the development and execution of company-wide strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery and consistency with the company's objectives.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop comprehensive financial models to support company-wide strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and prepare reports to provide actionable insights.
- Perform variance analysis, identifying and explaining deviations from the budget.
Budget Forecasting:
- Lead the preparation of detailed annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget adherence and provide real-time updates to the leadership team.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to ensure financial targets are met.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Work closely with the accounting team to reconcile financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Support the development and execution of long-term financial strategies.
- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on the company's financial health.
- Provide strategic recommendations to drive business growth and improve profitability.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
Communication and Coordination:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the Founders Office and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of work experience, ideally in a fast-scaling company.
- Proven track record of strong execution and achieving results in previous roles.
- Experience in Financial management and a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Experience working closely with C-level executives or senior management is a plus.
- CA Preferred.
