Engineer I Electrical & Electronics Engineering IX

Brief Description:
The person shall be responsible for the Electrical design of DC Power Systems, Power Distribution Panel and associated activities like Electrical schematic, Wire harness design using Creo module, Technical Manual writing, Test procedures etc.

Apart from system development, the person will also be responsible for Testing of Telecom SMPS/DCPS/IPMS/ AMF & Production / Service support as and when needed to resolve product design related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5-7 Years of Experience in Design / Testing
• Familiar with Product development process and Product Life Cycle management
• Familiar with Electrical switchgear selection, cable/busbar sizing & Electrical safety norms
• Hand-on generating Electrical schematic & wire harness drawings using Creo module
• Familiar with handling & operation of instruments like Power analyzer / HV Tester / oscilloscope etc
• Hand-on testing the Electrical systems to evaluate the Functional, Safety & Reliability performance of prototype
• Need to work closely with Mechanical & Software team to provide electrical inputs during design phase
• Knowledge and experience in all aspects of system design including:
  • Ability to understand product specification and estimating broad level solution
  • Developing the Prototype, Test plan and Validation as per specification
  • Identify Cost reduction opportunities in the system
  • Lab equipment like Power analyzer / HV Tester / oscilloscope handling
• Product Documentation i. e generating the Bill of Material, Electrical schematic, Wire Harness drawing & User manual
• Self-Motivated, Multi-tasking, result oriented & ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
