SAP CO Consultant - Support & Implementation (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant to provide expertise in the SAP Controlling module, including configuration, implementation, and support.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of controlling processes like cost center accounting, product costing, profitability analysis, and internal orders.

The role requires collaboration with various teams to optimize business performance through effective financial controlling solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP CO implementation and support projects, ensuring alignment with client business requirements.

- Analyze, design, and configure the SAP CO module for processes including cost center accounting (CCA), internal orders (IO), product costing (PC), and profitability analysis (CO-PA).

- Customize and enhance the SAP CO module to improve financial reporting, cost management, and controlling processes.

- Integrate SAP CO with other SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, and PP.

- Work closely with finance and controlling teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

- Perform gap analysis and propose process improvements in controlling processes.

- Develop and execute testing plans, ensuring smooth transitions from project go-live to operational support.

- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

- Prepare project documentation, including blueprints, functional specifications, and user manuals.

- Train key users and deliver end-user training on SAP CO functionalities.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an SAP CO Consultant.

- Hands-on experience in SAP CO module configuration, with expertise in areas like cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, and profitability analysis.

- Experience integrating SAP CO with other modules (FI, MM, SD, PP).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA CO functionalities is a plus.

- Ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and provide effective knowledge transfer to clients.

- SAP CO certification is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations with CO modules.

- Experience handling multiple full lifecycle SAP CO projects.

- Familiarity with advanced controlling tools like SAP Fiori apps and analytics within SAP CO.

- Exposure to SAP FI (Financial Accounting) for seamless integration between FI and CO modules.
